Elkhorn Ridge Golf Course opened for play in 2009. The course was designed by Patrick Wyss.
Elkhorn Ridge golf course is part of a residential development, off I-90. Planss call for expanding the course to 18 holes in the future. There ares plenty of choices for play with five tees from 4,500 yards to 7,300 yards, if you play a double loop 18. The course has a 285 ft. elevation change giving way to spectacular views of the historic Centennial Valley.
In addition to a championship layout with an awesome Northern Black Hills backdrop, Elkhorn Ridge Golf Club will offer upscale Practice Facilities. Along with large practice greens and bunkers, Elkhorn Ridge will host the regions only double-ended Driving Range enabling customers to practice from both the east and west ends of the facility allowing privacy and the ability to practice without looking into the rising and setting sun.

Temporary water problem makes the fairways very dry. Staff says it is a temporary problem. Everyone here is great to visit with. Course layout is very challenging and fun. Will defintely visit here again. Right off the 90 freeway, so good place to stop and play on your trip across S.D.
