Montgomery Bell State Park Golf Course

This is a beautiful course with an above average layout. Each hole is beautiful and different. A hidden gem. the only negative was the bunkering. Following a heavy rain many were full of water and they had obviously not had necessary maintenance in quite a while. If they cannot keep them in good condition, perhaps they should simply turn them into grass bunkers as they were unplayable as sand bunkers in their current condition.

Course was quite wet from all the recent rain. Greens were somewhat rough, but I trust they will improve with better weather. Sand traps need to be refilled and washed out areas have sand returned to them. I do think some of these will be repaired very soon. Beautiful course with challenging layout and good course design.
