Indian Creek Golf Course is Public, 36 hole golf facility located in Carrollton, Texas. Indian Creek boasts two 18-hole golf courses, The Lakes Golf Course and The Creek Golf Course.
The Creek Golf Course built in 1983, travels in and around the Trinity River and Indian Creek itself. Beautiful wooded fairways and bermuda greens are modestly bunkered to create a very challenging and tight course. The Creek Course at Indian Creek Golf Course was designed by Dick Phelps. The course was rennovated in 2003 by Jeff Brauer.
The Creek Course at the Indian Creek Golf Club facility is a par-72 layout that plays to 7,235 yards from the backt tees. The course rating is 74.7 with a slope rating of 135.
Both courses are similar in design. The fairways are narrow and lined with Mesquite trees, and the greens are medium in size and speed. The terrain is flat and easy to walk. The Creek Course has several creeks that come into play on many holes, and the Lakes Course has several lakes that come into play on many of its holes. Of the two courses, the Creek Course is considered the most difficult by the locals.
The Lakes Golf Course opened in 1986, is nestled among 14 water features that surround the 205 acres of bermuda grass fairways and bent grass greens. The Lakes Course at Indian Creek Golf Course was designed by Dick Phelps
The Lakes Course at the Indian Creek Golf Club facility is a par-72 layout that plays to 6,999 yards from the backt tees. The course rating is 74.2 with a slope rating of 129.

I play this course regularly and it is one of the best in the price range. It is very challenging. The course is kept in very good condition. Two problems: the pace of play is slow and they are not maintaining their carts very well.

The course was in excellent shape, The greens were at least 11-12 speed rated , The traps were wet but typical in winter golf. The cart girl was very attentive, and the pro shop staff were knowledgeable.

I like both courses -- Creeks a little better -- always in great shape and has a lot of challenging holes. Lots of trees and a good choice when the weather gets warmer (shade relief).

Strong golf course in an urban setting but with no houses to ruin the experience. The layout is quite good and greens are among the fastest I have seen in the area. The last 3 or 4 holes provide a very strong finish, especially into the prevailing winds. Overall a very positive experience.

Get there before noon. Regular groups have a tendency to be SLOW in the afternoon. Some groups play the back tees on the Creeks course (VERY HARD) and shoot 110+. They're plum-bobbing their one-footers. We hope they're playing for LOTS of money.

Very challenging layout which I believe adds to the pace of play. Better marshall presence would help.

Two 18 hole courses at this location, with no houses on either course. Both courses have nice, well maintained layouts with the Creeks getting a slight edge over the Lakes course. The greens are nicely bunkered, giving you the feel of a more expensive course, and the bunkers are well maintained, which is my pet peeve for local munis or daily fee courses in this area. Although the terrain is generally flat, they have done a nice job of mounding and terracing so that it isn't that noticeable. You need to pay atention to the signs along the cart path, as it can be confusing to find the next hole on occasion. Cart ladies are friendly and are generally present. Carts have GPS and some marshalling is apparent to help keep things moving. A starter helps keep things organized. There is enough water on the course to make it interesting and attractive, without many forced carries. Trees line many of the fairways , but they are kept well thinned, so that it is possible to play out of them in most situations. Generally, this is a great golfing experience, whichever course you choose.

Indian Creek Golf Course is in a good location for me, it is close to both my home and office.
The course is in good condition. The greens were in very good condition. Layout is nice but not real exciting but probably good for the area terrain.
With a coupon/discount the course is a good value.

The course was in great shape for this time of year and the rain we have had. Nice range and warm up area. Staff and cart girls very friendly. Pro shop staff is hit and miss. One forgot to put my reservation into the system another saved the day by finding me a tee time near when I was supposed to go off. I had driven an hour to get there. Over all, I will put this on my "worth the travel" list and look forward to playing here again.
