Los Lagos Golf Club is a Public 18 hole golf course located in the Rio Grande Valley just outside Edinburg, Texas.
Los Lagos Golf Club opened in January 2001. The course was designed by Von Hagge, Smelek & Baril.
Los Lagos Golf Course is a links-style course with open, rolling fairways leading to small, undulating greens that vary in shape and speed. The links-styled mounding throughout the course is combined with 11-acres of lakes and affords a unique golfing experience.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 7,188 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,561 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 10, a par-5 that plays to 611 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 14, a par-3 that plays to 161 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 9, a 554 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 12, a 361 yard par-4.

Golf carts need a lot of work. I have played this course a number of times and have never had a cart that was up to the standard you would expect for this type of course. If the wind is blowing (like it does a lot) bring your A game and extra balls (or) don't expect to score well because it is not going to happen.

Staff, from pro-shop to maintenance, were very considerate to the player on the coarse. Fairways were well maintained, but greens could use more care; excellent water hazards and an abundance of bunkers, creates an inviting challenge.
