The Rusty Rail Golf Club golf course first opened for play in 1983. The course was designed by John Reeves.
Although the course has only 9 greens, there are four distinct tee boxes per hole which allows all players to enjoy a full 18 hole experience. For instance, #1, a par 4 on the front changes becomes #10 a par 5 on the back. A straight-away hole on the front becomes a fierce dogleg on the back. A simple, short part 3 on the front changes into a 227 yard par 3 over a rise that hides most of the green and only reveals the flagstick. The "Rail" has both left and right doglegs with hidden greens that will test your imagination and ball flight. "Eleven" of the "18" holes also involve water or a creek to either hit over or lay up to.
