Augusta Pines is a Semi-Private 18 hole golf course open to the public, located in Spring, Texas.
Designed by Tour 18, the Augusta Pines golf course opened in 2000.
Augusta Pines has a 100,000 square foot clubhouse, a state-of-the-art practice facility (including six target greens and sand bunkers). The course negotiates mature pines, dogwoods and oaks. A total of 30 acres of lakes come into play on the eleven of the eighteen holes.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 7,041 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,007 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 6, a par-5 that plays to 604 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 17, a par-3 that plays to 149 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 4, a 470 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Augusta Pines is # 17, a 149 yard par-3. The dramatic finishing holes are back-to-back island greens, the par-3 seventeenth and par-5 eighteenth.

I thought the course was in great shape, especially considering the drought conditions in Texas. One of my favorite courses in the Houston area.
