Sand Hollow Resort's Championship Course is the perfect balance of Links golf and Southwest desert landscape. Framed by the native landscape, the 7,300-yard, 72-par 18-hole course's takes full advantage of the region's natural beauty.
Southern Utah's incredible views and vistas surround the front nine's red rock outcroppings, natural vegetation, indigenous sand bunkers and rolling fairways. A majority of golfers replace clubs with a camera for their first shot on the back nine. Featuring dramatic elevation changes extending across a towering ridgeline, The Championship Course's last nine are unlike anything in the West.
According to John Fought, Course Designer, "Each hole is a difficult birdie, but easy bogey so all levels of players will enjoy playing again and again."
The Championship Course's #15 graced the cover of Golf Week Magazine "Best Courses" edition, and was awarded Utah%u2019s "Best Public Course" for the second straight year.
The Sand Hollow Championship Course plays to a par-72 and maximum distance of 7,315 yards. The course rating is 73.7 with a slope rating of 137.
The Sand Hollow Golf Resort Links Golf Course_________________
The inspiration for Sand Hollow Resort's Links Course is found throughout the "Links Land" courses of the British Isles. Flawlessly blended with the desert's natural sand dunes and rock formations, the full-length 3,600-yard, par 36 course is home to the State's largest greens and fairways.
Hand-built stone "Sheep Fencing" brings players back to the origins of golf, and most visitors expect to see livestock grazing in the longer rough areas. The Links has the essence of an old-world course with a desert twist.
Unintimidating for beginning golfers, the traditional style also a unique experience for avid players. Home to multiple youth tournaments throughout the year; the Links is the perfect course for the whole family.
The Sand Hollow Links Course plays to a par-36 and maximum distance of 3,687 yards. The course rating is 73.2 with a slope rating of 126.

Drove from Vegas up to St. George based upon photos I had seen on the internet. Turns out those photos do not come close to doing justice to the real thing! (Enjoy the photos I submitted to this website) I will make the 90+ minute drive from Vegas to play this course every time I'm in town.

The clubhouse has been completed. But, they closed the bar early. After playing in off and on snow bursts, we wanted to hang in the bar. Oh well back to Mesquite to drink and gamble. The course is a must play. The back 9 is one of the most scenic you will ever play.

A new golf course, the club house is not finished and there are no bathrooms or portapottys on the course. Hold it for the temporary club house. The course condition was immaculate. The front nine is ho hum, but the back nine is dramatic. Playing along the cliffs is both challenging and beautiful. If you are anywhere near the area, play it. You will love the back nine experience. Note: They give senior discounts.

One of the best courses I've ever played. I make an annual trip to the St. George area to golf with friends from Idaho and this is my favorite course. We usually play this one twice because we all like it so much. I can't recommend it highly enough, the course is in terrific condition and it has some of the best scenery in the area. If you get the chance, play it!
