Montague Golf Club is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Randolph, Vermont.
The course first opened for play in 1925. Geoffrey Cornish and Bill Robinson redesigned the course in the 1960's.
This Scottish links-style course is wide open. The White River comes into play on five holes. The terrain is fairly flat and easy to walk. However, there is some rolling terrain on the back nine that can cause an uneven lie every now and again. Furthermore, numerous maple trees can affect your shots on the front nine.
The signature hole is #5, a 420-yard, par 4, featuring a panoramic view of the entire countryside.
Blue tees: par-70, 6,134 yards, 69.6 / 119
White tees: par-70, 5,730 yards, 68 / 115
Red tees: par-71, 4,785 yards, 68.7 / 109

I play this course and when it has all of it's greens open it is a really nice 18 hole course for all levels of play.

I really enjoy Montague. It has good fairways, really nice greens, and is easy to get around and walk. Love the changes made since just before and after the floods from Irene. They actually have improved the course, particularly for 10 and 18. A good change from the front 9 to the back 9. Friendly crowd. You can call up and play almost anytime as a single. Recommended for anyone.

Front 9 is regular and the back 9 is a links course. Par 70. Great improvements in the last 3 years!

Two different 9's make this course fun to play. The back nine is a links style while the front is regular.
