Established in 1927 on converted farmland, the Basin Harbor Golf Course is an 18-hole championship course, making it a popular Vermont golf resort.
Winding through the gently rolling hills of Champlain Valley, the course follows natural woods and open areas. At more than 6,500 yards, the expansive and demanding course features small and medium contoured greens, 48 bunkers, and bent-grass turf. The short front nine (3,054 yards from the blue tees) present a variety of challenging shots. The longer back nine (3,459 yards) cater to the long ball hitter. The course and slope ratings are 71.5 and 122.
A putting green, driving range and practice fairway also complement this Vermont golf resort.
Basin Harbor was the first course in Vermont to become a sanctioned Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Golf Course. The program is dedicated to preserving natural resources and enhancing wildlife habitats.
