Broad Run Golf & Practice Facility is a Public, 9 hole golf course located in Bristow, Virginia.
The golf course at Broad Run first opened for play in 1998. The course was designed by Rick Jacobson.
Broad Run Golf Course was built on hilly, wooded terrain. The fairways are all lined with beautiful mature oak and sycamore trees, and they are fairly tight. The greens are well-maintained and amply bunkered.
The signature hole is #5, a 417-yard, par 5, which plays downhill. This hole is very picturesque and features a dogleg left fairway that plays around a lake. The green is well-guarded by bunkers.
Par for the course is 35. From the back tees, the course plays to 3,023 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 2,162 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 2, a par-5 that plays to 532 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 4, a par-3 that plays to 130 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 5, a 417-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Broad Run Golf Course is # 4, the 130 yard par-3.
The facility also offers golfers a 75 station, heated all-weather driving range complete with a 2-acre short game practice area and a 10,000 square foot putting area.
