Highland Springs Golf Course, originally known as Confederate Hills is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Highland Springs, Virginia.
Highland Springs Golf Course first opened in 1967. The course was designed by Dr. Michael Hurdzan, Raymond F. Loving, Jr. and Algie M. Pulley, Jr.
Water hazards (thirteen lakes) come into play on sixteen holes. In addition, numerous greenside and fairway sand bunkers have been incorporated into the course design.
Par for the course is 70. From the back tees the course plays to 6360 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 4640 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 11, a par-5 that plays to 540 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 4, a par-3 that plays to 163 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 6, a 429 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 15, a 394 yard par-4.
