This county owned course was built in 1910 on a dairy farm and today part of the course lies on the infield of the Columbia County Fairgrounds horse track.

The most difficult hole is #3, a 570-yard, par 5, that often plays into a strong wind. The fairway on this hole is also extremely narrow with water coming into play on the second shot.

I played the Touchet Valley Golf Course for the first time yesterday and was very happily surprised with the course. The staff were very friendly , the course was challenging enough for the average golfer but with enough difficulty for people that play on a constant basis. Over all I would encourage those who want to have a good golfing experience and don't mind driving a little bit to get there to play this course.
