The course was designed by W. W. Baker. The course first opened for play in 1923.
The Walla Walla Country Club Golf Course is a traditional-style course, situated in the heart of Washington wine country. The location is graced by natural beauty and superb weather. This classic 18-hole layout is designed to challenge players of all skill levels. The course is characterized by mature trees, lush fairways, and manicured greens.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,434 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5,474 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 18, a par-5 that plays to 517 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 4, a par-3 that plays to 135 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 6, a 420 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 13, a 146 yard par-3.
