The Valley View golf course first opened in 1932. The course was designed by Ray Vaughn.

This very scenic course was built on rolling terrain. The course is nestled in the beautiful Greenbrier Valley, the Valley View Country Club offers the charm and amazing views of the Alleghenys. Located just minutes away from the Greenbrier resort and historic LewisburgIn addition, water hazards come into play several times. It's a links-type course nestled within a beautiful view of the surrounding trees and mountains. The course appears to be a rather benign layout but most golfers find it a surprising challenge.

With nine regulation holes, this par 36 course leads you through a valley surrounded by the Allegheny mountains.

Watch out for # 3, a 423 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 6, a 360 yard par-4.
