Have played this course just twice, and both times ended up stacked up, pushing/waiting on folks most of the day. (Perhaps just poor timing on my part, but slow play combined with my driving distance from the course, makes the course absent from my 'frequent' list.)
Course is fairly flat (though not without some variety of elevation) , and a bit 'tight', being squeezed into a rather narrow space, thus much of the course is fairly 'open', with many fairways running parallel to each other. Water features very prominently on #8 and #17, and lies to the outside of a dogleg on #11. Numbers 12-16 play out an "L" away from the bulk of the course.
A patio area outside the clubhouse offers a fine scenic spot to enjoy food and beverage after your outing.

Have been playing here since 1994 and conditions hold pretty good for a public course w/ good pricing. Course must be played from the tips to add alittle more length. Got my first hole-in-one on #8 @134yds w/8 iron and shot 38. Played with the same ball and finished with 78. All the fairways are lined with hardwood trees and are fair with full punch out shots for saves. Greens hold very good but on the slow side. Good price during the weekdays and worth stopping just off the highway I-94 about 4 minutes.

Slowest 18 hole round I have played in 10 years, no one on staff seems to care if it takes 6 hours midweek for a round of golf. some groups had 2 open holes in front of them and ranger never said a word to them. This is an OLD MAN golf course and the old men out there showed no regard for anyone, parked cars in front of greens and marked score there, played bad cart golf, drove to each shot and all watched each shot before anyone else got ready. SLOW SLOW. terrible place for any one not wanting to spend all day,.. Im retired and couldn't believe how slow this played.
