Spain's Pablo Larrazabal was playing his second round of the Malaysian Open where he encountered a nasty group of wasps that were so bad he ran into a lake to get relief. The incident occurred on the fifth hole at Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club. "I'm walking along and suddenly I felt something on my nose," he said. I swatted it away and suddenly... they were not bees, they were three times the size of bees. His caddie told him to run and others yelled for him to jump in the lake. Larrazabal later emerged from the lake, dried off and received several injections to treat the 20 stings he suffered. He resumed his round and amazingly made two birdies coming in and shot 68 to make the cut. He finished the tournament tied for 8th. Englishman Lee Westwood was the winner.
