Eau Claire

$56 (cart included), played on Saturday, April 2012 at 8am
I have played Wild Ridge many times. It is the most challenging course in the Eau Claire area. The course design is interesting with a combination of hills, water, woods, traps, and even some links style holes. Wild Ridge rewards good shots and punishes poor shots. The greens are fast and smooth greens. The fairways are very good and well tended. In the summer the rough is high after the first cut. At more than 7000 yards from the tournament (black) tees, it is a strong test. There are other tees that give the course less length. The Wild Ridge staff is very friendly. There is a good bar and grill for after golf.
Would travel: 60-120 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Ranks with the best in this price level, Best course in the area, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
