The biggest problem with this course is that the original 9 is more of a mini-me course with lots of little gimmicky 200 yard par 4's and silly par 3's. When they decided to finish up and make it a full 18 holes a couple of years back they did a great job on the newest 9. It is a full size and mostly well laid out group of 9 holes. The conditioning is good enough for the area though not as good as Houston Lake. My only complaint with the newest 9 is that after you finish up the first hole it is close to a quarter mile to get to the second hole. Other than that it is a lot of fun and always a challenge. The original 9 is basically a joke unless you are in the mood for weird quasi-executive style of golf course. This course is in a retirement community so once the early morning 4-somes roll through you will have the entire course to yourself. I have played the course several times (I live 2 miles away) and most of the time I'm the only person out there. They have a decent range and nice putting and chipping area.
