Encino
2010-09-27
$41 (cart not included), played on Saturday, August 2010 at 6am
Is in the same complex as Encino GC. While this course has been less popular than Encino, I find it more interesting to play. The layout is pretty straight forward. The fairways are spotty and greens conditions vary though the year, but generally the greens are better than the Encino course. Some of the greens are interesting to putt, especially the 2 newer Par-5s. Practice facility is poor. Virtually never see a marshal on the course and pace of play can be an issue. Was a better value before the city raised prices. Traps can be in poor condition much of the time.
Would travel: 10-20 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Average course for the area
