Played this course in June and what a treat. We were first off at 9 am as they do early maintenance on Tuesdays. Great practice range that includes a wedge game area where you can hit 65 to 95 yard shots to a real green with 4 pin placements. The course was in prime shape, my only beef is that with a newer course the greens were a bit hard. And, since this is a course where you want to stay below the hole, the hardness of the greens made it a real challenge.
The course winds through rolling wheat fields on the front nine and then through trees on the back. Most holes are all by themselves, with no houses or other buildings. I played the Coeur d'Alene (island green) resort course the next day and while it is a fun tract, this course is much better and more challenging.
Definitely worth my trip from San Diego and would play this course frequently if I lived near by.
Would travel: 30-60 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Expensive and worth it, Best course in the area
Condition of Course, Difficulty, Layout, No Houses on Course
