Played this course in the morning of a holiday weekend and it was a bit crowded. We had a twosome join us and unfortunately they were very slow and were playing from a tee box not suited to their game. Consequently we were warned on the 5th hole to speed up and that did help a bit. The layout is good and fairly challenging with the heavy desert vegetation making a good number of holes very tight with no bailout. The greens had been over-seeded and were pretty good overall with just a few bare spots. Bunkers were ok but a bit muddy. I liked the course overall but the long round probably affected my opinion of the course. If I lived nearby, I would play it more often but since I have to travel from San Diego, I would pick other courses. Very nice management, good starter, and nice staff in the restaurant.
Would travel: 20-30 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Average course for the area, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
