The reviewer from Pasadena, CA was unaware of a great deal offered by the folks at Turtle Bay/Kuilima: $15 twilight rate, walking, after 3:02 PM Mon-Sun. Just call their Pro Shop and ask for their special. Short course, not too challenging, greens in better shape on the back nine...I try to stay on the North Shore of Oahu, so it's well worth the slow pace of play when LOTS of golfers go out around 3. After nine holes, the herd thins out and one can get in lots of golf before the sun sets around 6:40 pm HST.
Never played the Palmer course, which I understand is more challenging, expensive but picturesque. But can't beat $15 golf in Hawai'i!
Would travel: 30-60 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area, Bargain priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
