I was a member for a few years. Very good course. A few holes redesigned. Water everywhere, but straight hitters are mostly fine. Slicers will have problems. Great greens - huge.
I thought this was a Donald Ross course, it used to be advertised as such; maybe I am wrong though.
Course if flat, easy to walk. I did have somebody (kids in proshop working) give away my tee time a few times....ie 10am on Saturday or Sunday. They said it must've been a coincidence their 'fiends' had it. So, living nearby I swung by to book tee times. We caught them erasing the schedule (used to be on paper). Then other kids would just say 'you must have canceled'....
At one point the had a no smoking policy on the enttire course, but the starter was a chainsmoker.....but check before you book.
But al in all it is a great muni course and worth a trip. Some of the fairways are pretty narrow, but abain the greens are huge and always in great shape.
Would travel: 0-10 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
