Great course great shape, great practice facilities. This is a 4.5 star facility. Always beautiful shape. I cannot seem to play Jones' courses. The neighboring Nicklaus course is a type Jack course. My favorite on the planet.
Course is built to 'run' balls on to the green with a 2 iron. Driveable par 4s, false front par 3 greens, par 3 carries across trash areas, grass bunkers, doglegs, carry over trees on doglegs, etc. I love this course more than any course I've ever played. I've played this course about 40 - 50 times, and the Jones course a dozen times. Atlantic country club is down the street - another very good course.
I've met Roger Clemmons and the Yankees (2 - 4somes), Clint Eastwood, and more celebs there.
Would travel: 30-60 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
