The last time that I played this course (a little over 4 years ago), I swore that I'd never return. The course was a disaster area, with tee boxes chewed up, weeds and cat tails along the ponds, and the bunkers were totally unplayable. Then along comes new ownership and a major investment in renovations. I'd heard good things about the course, so I made my return to find out and was not disappointed. The greens (even with top dressing) putted beautifully, fairways and tee boxes were in great shape, and the bunkers were in outstanding shape (I managed to find a few). I've always enjoyed the layout (one of the best in Central New York), so now it's back in my rotation.
Would travel: 20-30 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area, Bargain priced based on quality and competitive area pricing, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
Condition of Course, Price, Pace of Play, Food/ Bar facilities, Difficulty, Ambiance, Staff, Layout, Clubhouse
