This course opened in 2009/2010 and is in great condition despite its young age. Fairways are young but well on their way to maturity, greens are absolutely fine, and the overall layout can be downright punishing if you don't bring your A game. The Nicklaus design team must be mad at someone when they design courses, ha, ha! Nice parkland type design on the front, links style on the back, undulating/multi-tiered greens and large/deep bunkers make for an interesting layout. One of the best designs in Central NY. Cons? Still waiting for a clubhouse, bar and restaurant. Hope it remains a public access course!
Would travel: 20-30 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area, Bargain priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
