Played today, first Tuesday in October. I was going to walk, but was told they had a Monday & Tuesday special, $20 w/cart and since I had a guest from England, said what the heck, we will play with a cart. Perfect day, great weather, played in just less than 3.5 hours, course was in very good shape. This course is a great value and a nice track. It is like a super nice muni, but with a lot less play so the pace is always good.

I play this course frequently. I played yesterday, The 31st of December. The weather was beautiful 65 degrees, sunny skies. On the last day of the year, I played my last game of the year and got a par on the last hole of the year. The par-4 #18. The year ended well. I found the course to be in excellent shape for this time of the year, particularly the greens. The only drawback was that after several days of rain, the bunkers (sand traps) were full of water. The bukers do not drain proberly and looked like small ponds. Because most people had the day off and the weather was so good, the course was very crowded. Saying that, the round was just at 4 hours, about 30 minutes longer than normal for me on this course. As always, a nice course at a great price. Monday - Thursday special of $20 w/cart. Happy New Year.

The Robins Air Force Base golf course is a very nice local course.
Make no mistake, this is not a PGA TOUR quality course or a resort course, but on par with a very nice municipal course, but without the crowd. And there are some added good stuff, the course has a nice mix of challeges, elevation changes, nice greens and holes 4, 9, and 10 could all be considered signature holes. #17 is a great open rip it and hit it par-5.
The course was in nice condition and the weather today was perfect.
The price, if you buy their 10 game walking card, it is only $120, or $12 per 18-holes. The riding card is $220 for 10 rounds, or $22 per 18-holes / includes cart. Either way, they are a bargain price for a very nice course.

Pine Oaks Golf Club continues to offer great golf at a bargain price. The course was in very nice shape today. Spring is a great time to play this Georgia Course. While not Augusta, The azelas were in bloom and we have their weather.
Hole number 15 is still under repair. They are fixing the bottom dip that has had flooding issues in the past. So for now, 17 holes are playable and you get to play 9 a second time to make 18.
The round was played in less than 4 hours. Started at 10 AM, and home in time to post a ranking and then watch the Masters. What a great Sunday.

Pine Oaks represents excellent value. This is a military course and is not available for open play to the general public unless accompanied by an authorized user. This is a very nice 18 hole Georgia course. A good part of the course is all natural without housing or ajacent structures. Water comes into play on 6, 9, and 10. The narrow fairways on 9, 11 which curves, and 18 which slopes right can get you in trouble. Overall the course is a nice combination of flat terrain on some holes and hills on others. There are 40 to 60 foot elevation changes on 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 12, 16, and 18. The course is well maintained and is an absolute bargain for the price.
