OK, this is not a course for Bubba Watson wannabees. This is a course for the people. The ambience will make you proud to be an American. It is in the middle of nowhere with gorgeous scenery and elevated views of the surrounding farmlands. Just breath in the fresh air and enjoy the 7 feet corn stalks just off the green. SPORTY as hell.
This is where you go to get away and enjoy the outdoors. Every hole is different. The only par 3 I have ever seen that has a mirror device to see if the green is clear (and a cowbell!). This par 3 is one of the best I have ever played.
A total blind shot from the tee and plenty of trouble around the green. God bless this place.
Would travel: 30-60 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Bargain priced based on quality and competitive area pricing, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
Price, Difficulty, Ambiance, Staff, Layout, No Houses on Course
