Egypt Valley are in my opinion, the 2 best courses in the Grand Rapids area, if not West Michigan. The only problem with the Egypt Valley, is that it is private and I can't play there whenever I want.
The Ridge and Valley courses were designed by Arthur Hills and make superb use of the land they are built on. The conditions are always perfect and greens are some of the fastest in Michigan. Just being out on the course makes one smile, the beauty of the property is worth the cost alone.
If you get the chance to play one or both of these courses, do not pass it by.
Would travel: 120-300 Miles
Bottom line: I would play again, Best course in the area
Condition of Course, Difficulty, Layout, Ambiance, No Houses on Course, Pace of Play, Staff, Clubhouse, Pro Shop
