Located in Jackson county, this is one of the most affordable 7,000 yd tracks ($45am)you'll find anywhere. Links style layout with large landing areas on most holes, plays very fair even from the tips. No boredom of simular holes here, everyone is VERY different from the next. Lots of wildlife in the rough along with golf balls make it a gem in the Jackson. Note the PM price of play goes down every hour after 1pm. In June $20 gets you 18 holes w/ cart @ 5:00pm

Would travel: 30-60 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Ranks with the best in this price level, Best course in the area, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing

Played on Memorial Day for $39 @ 7:30am 6some and got done in 4 hrs. Shot 45/40 w/ 33putts (blacks)and 3 OB's on the front 9. Greens still are rolling great but had some winter damage on a few holes. All in all, still a great track for the price and they do have speicals. Sunday for $29.00 is a GREAT bargin they are running this year for a Bill Newcomb 7,004yd Links layout course. Just off I-94

Would travel: 30-60 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area, Ranks with the best in this price level, Best course in the area, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing

Being one of Jackson Counties Premier golf courses (Grande the other) I have to give a final Fall rating after playing this weekend. Conditions from "Tee to Green" are the same you would expect if you played May to September, which is the way a great course should be. Greens were a little slow from normal, but for November I'll give it a pass. Playing from the blues (6,531yds) my friend Mark P (89/35putts) and I (93/35putts) had 3.45hrs of a sunny 45 degrees exploring a William Newcomb designed course with #1 hole being the only flat green you'll see. Even having the three (3) O'B's on the back nine, won't keep me from enjoying this Links style of layout, focusing next time on my shots and not the visual problem areas. Located just off I-94 is a must play when traveling through Jackson County.
