This is a typical mature, well maintained Public course with owners that take care of you. The 6,399 yd / Par 72 @ $23.00 with the back 9 having three (3) par 5's over 500yds and a nice rolling layout, you gotta stop. Always enjoy playing here with the blind doglegs (3) and #3 Par 5 challenge, crossing two (2) ponds at 522yds makes your 2nd shot a real decision maker. Golf conditions are always good but with the trees in fall, its hard to stay ahead of nature. Shot 81/36putts and enjoyed the the straight forward layout and smooth but slower than normal greens. Short drive from I-94 (5minutes) makes it a easy stop for highway golf and a quick afternoon round at a great price.

Would travel: 20-30 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Average course for the area, Bargain priced based on quality and competitive area pricing, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing

Returned with son Barry to revisit his first League course back in 1997 when he was going to Western University. The course conditions are in great shape because of the wet Spring and weekly rains that keeps every green. The rough was very thick (2"-3") and sticky and took its toll when we missed the well mowed fairways. Greens were rolling 8-9 and traps were well groomed with 1/2 inch of top fluff. We decided to play from the tips Yellow's at 6,467yds / 70.4 / 124 as it could be a long time before we're both back in this area. That #3 522yd Par 5 can hold it's Hcp 1 with no problem by having two (2) creek crossings. That #5 a 90 degree dogleg at 382yds requires 220yd tee shot to see the highly elevated green on the hill. On the Back 9 the #14 protects its Hcp 2 by being narrow and up hill 407yds to the promise land. The #18 at 530yds straightaway is the longest hole and has a long narrow green with a front trap. I had driver trouble today and had five (5) OB's for a 90 w/33putts and Barry's 88 w/36putts posted two (2) OB's on his card. Still a great course for the $26 for 18 w/cart with very green conditions this year.
