Retired and got my Ella Sharp GC discount card ($10) so walking 18 holes is $10 now, what a deal. Course is still in great shape and green grass awaits your ball wherever it may land...except for the well groomed sand traps. Greens were rolling smooth today at a 7-8 pace and holding all shots very nice. They moved the tee box on #3 to the right adding distance and better angle ( I feel) to the tree lined fairway. Rough was thick and fair in most areas as the generous close cut fairways awaited your aventual arrival. Even though it's a side by side layout, well established trees provide safe play throughout the course. Senior traffic in the AM locks up the course but by afternoon it opens up nicely. Enjoyed shooting 36/37 w/29 putts with birdies on #6, #7and #14 on this short 5,827yd 36/35 par layout but still challenging if you find the trees.

Built in 1923, its old school layout and very easy to walk. Grew up playing this course since 1960"s and has always been a well kept course from tee to green. Even though it has back in forth fairways the LARGE trees keep balls on their own side. The large/fair greens are in the best shape/speed I've ever seen them. Paid $23 (Felt I under paid by $12)for 18/cart on Saturday @ 8:06am and finished @ 12:10pm (4some) shot 76/30putts with good grass where ever I landed. Holes #7 & #8 (par 4's) are alittle strange using a iron off the tee but that's the only clink in the armor. If your driver keeps it between the trees, you'll score very well. Ask about the Senior Pass prices, crazy low.
