In the area for some Customer golf and got a $59 deal to play this Robert Bruce Harris "Bunker Infested" layout. This track is truly spread out and separated by trees from the few holes that are side by side. Ponds, lakes, creeks, sand traps(great condition) are there to greet you on every hole as you make your way to the generous size greens. Getting on the smooth and firm greens is the easy part, making the possible 50' - 75' putts are another story. Playing from 7,085yds / 136 / 73.8 down to 5,244 yds / 129 / 70.0 will have you picking various tee boxes for the many forced carries you will be faced with. The two (2) Par 5 holes you'll have the fun with are #9 and #18 that follow the Lake and have many hazards if not in the fairway. Conditions were great from tee to green with many yardage marking to choose from. Shooting 43 / 41 w/39 putts should show that yardage to the pin is more important than just hitting the green.
Would travel: 60-120 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing, Ranks with the best in this price level
Condition of Course, Price, Food/ Bar facilities, Difficulty, Ambiance, Layout, No Houses on Course, Clubhouse
