Played here about 20 years and now I know why I didn't remember it........I blocked it out.

Son, Barry and I played from the tips today at 6,570yd / 71.7/ 126 on this rolling, tree-lined, undulating fairways/greens, golfing community layout. The homes are mostly kept back away from sight of play but there's a lot of driving through them, so you know they are there.

Couldn't believe the elevation changes throughout the course /hole which made club selection very difficult. Yardage blocks / sprinkler heads markings were helpful on getting to the greens, but putting it in the hole.....that's another story. Not only rolling at 9-10 but difficult to read the hidden breaks when getting there. I found coming up short on many of the slight doglegs (220yd needed) from the tips (Blues)would have been easier from the White's at 6,120yds / 69.1 / 123.

They have five (5) sets of tees down to 4,806yds/67.4/117 so choosing correct tees can make a good day on a tough track. Conditions from tee to green were idea but for some rain-soaked valleys, we encountered. #3, a 96yd Par 3 was played off a grass mat because of very soft tee boxes that are located in the trees away from the sun. Barry and I both hit PW and recorded Pars, which was very special considering the view, water short and long if you miss green.

The sand traps are plentiful and in great condition around the greens as they have real sand and were fluffed nicely considering rainy conditions last night. The layout is tight and alternates between tee (draw/fade) and 2nd shots on each hole so picking the right landing area is needed to hit greens in regulation.

We both Birdied #11 515yd Par 5 which is always a special moment when golfing with family/friends. We both agree that putting, each having 40 putts, was a big factor in not having lower scores. Many of the greens are elevated from the fairway so course knowledge would be helpful in future play. Look forward to playing here again for price ($25) and picking the correct tees for my current game.

Would travel: 30-60 Miles, Vacation Worthy
