This is a tuff course to give a accurate rating without sounding, counter-addictive. The layout is unbelievable in its rolling terrain, tree lined fairways and various blind shots. But having weeds growing on the tee boxes....is UN-excusable. The heavy rains last night left soggy conditions but the fairways were firm enough for carts to travel almost anywhere. Loved the elevation changes and the many well placed sand trap in the fairways and greens alike. Playing from Blues 6,452yds / 71.3 / 139 to the Reds 4,436yds / 66.3 / 116 this Par 72 layout has something for everyone. The fairways were cut short and with the soggy turf.....was a great challenge for my son Barry and myself. Paying $45 was a good price for this great layout with less than average conditions, at this time of year. I shot 43/41 w/31 putts and Barry had 44/39 w/ 32 putts as he was hitting the narrow fairways with more regularity than the Old Man. Both of us having a Par 5 on #5 Hole / 526yds and Birdie putts on #15 561yd Par 5 hole (Barry got his) were highlights of a great afternoon on the Links. Hope the weeds disappear on my next visit and Driver gets a little more accurate. Worth putting on your places to play if your in this area.
Would travel: 30-60 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing, Ranks with the best in this price level
