Got the 2 for 1 after 12pm Special, so for $16 w/cart ($32 reg) was a great deal for Sunday PM golf. This is one tight track for landing areas off the tee with lots of pine trees, that puts saves at a premium. Very rolling layout (6,710yds) with mostly elevated small greens that were well protected from all sides and don't go long. Mix of side by side fairways that had stray balls moving back and forth from the tee box locations that require mostly narrow visionary chutes. None of the par 3's had yardage blocks to get a feel of distance with the elevation changes you were faced with. Low hcp players or straight drivers will play well here but if you spray, you will pay. Very challenging layout and for $16 on a weekend PM coupon, it will show you your game flaws. (Bring your rangefinders, you'll need it) Shot 44/52 w/39putts as the driver and putter left me on the back nine. My son and his friend both had 38 putts so that should speak loudly of the rolling green conditions. Will return and choose my tee shot club selections a little better.
Would travel: 20-30 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Average course for the area, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing, Ranks with the best in this price level
