Located right off I-80 at exit so off-on is very accommodating to your travels. Jumped off I-80 at 9:15am and was squeezed into a 9:30am slot with three other guys from the area. It was a full scheduled morning but the 4.5hr loop moved very smooth from the 6,747yd / 72.0 / 130 / Par 72 tips we played. It was a very dewy morning on this nicely laid out course with good distance between fairways but could of had more visual separation to enhance each hole. Front nine (3,401yds) was mostly open and the greens received coming up shot very favorably, with sand being very firm. Disappointed in the clover/weeks throughout the entire course even though everything was mowed to the correct lengths. Yardage sticks for the 150yd only and markers for the 100 - 200yd with no sprinkler heads marked. Many of the long (400+yds) seemed to play downhill so that helped greatly for the second shots into the soft, true but slow greens. The #10 360yd par 4 is one tight fairway to hit and then the green (3 putted) has a ravine in the middle that adds to the fun. The #18 220yd par 3 that is fully protected will be something to remember and taking a mulligan tee shot just puts salt in the wound. Shot 36/39 w/32 putts because of coming up short set-up for 6 saves. Worth stopping but should be priced closer to $40 than the $55 I paid on Saturday morning.
Would travel: 20-30 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Expensive, but not worth it
