This was well worth the 40 minute drive to step onto a dry fairway course with full closely cut greens. This George Cobb / John LaFoy designed course was opened for play in 1990. This rolling, tree lined, dogleg rich layout, will challenge your tee placement shot on every hole. Layout has 80% of greens above the fairways which made carry distances my biggest problem today. You’ll find the white fluffy sand traps doing a great job of protecting greens and nice to hit out of. Every hole allowed you to focus on each shot because of the thick tree lined separation, tee to green. Landing areas were very fair and marked with 100-200 blocks in the fairway and paths. This is one great track for the senior rate of $44.23 paid for 18 w/cart, finishing in 4hrs for 4 of us. Enjoyed playing with locals Alex, Charlie, Dean and shooting 41/42 w/31putts on this sunny 84 degree day. Must play this course if you find yourself in this area.
Would travel: 30-60 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area, Bargain priced based on quality and competitive area pricing, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing, Ranks with the best in this price level
