Saw this course on the sheet and had to rate it. Its tuff to rate courses in Detroit area when you're from Jackson, MI My son had a VERY inexpencive membership w/cart so we played here w/ my grandchildren. Some very short par 4's that slow down play as most people wait for the grean to clear on the 325-350yd par 4 holes. If you don't tee off in the first 1/2 hour of daylight, plan on a 5-6hr round. Got into a 4man scramble outing in 2010 that took 7hrs, first and last time. Always able to shoot under 80 if my short irons are working because that's all you need after a 220yd drive. Course layout always looks good but you'll be fixing ball marks on every green before you putt. Last tip: DON'T PLAY at prime times, call first.
Would travel: 0-10 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Average course for the area, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
