This is a sweeping eighteen (18) hole layout that is cut out through a rolling wooded hillside, giving you the seclusion of viewing each hole as itself.
With four (4) tee boxes, you can select from 4,732yds / 67.5 / 121 up to 7,070yds / 74.5 / 138 on this par 36/36 scenic layout. Surprising fair landing areas for your tee shot (if you pick the correct distance) but things tighten up when shooting for the generous, sculptured but protected greens (8-9). If not sand, grass bunkers will be awaiting your impending arrival if you club selection fails. There are many elevation changes in this rolling "Ravine" course layout, even on each hole. I used my 3W / 5W on many elevated tees, to hit the best yardage/location in setting up my 2nd shots. My son Barry and I played from the Blues 6,504yd / 71.5 / 133 and found most landing areas at 215yds very fair and playable. Barry shot 41/42 w/32putts and I had 40/41 w/31putts on this rolling wooded, Arnold Palmer 1999 designed layout ($40) that is a must play for this area.
Would travel: 60-120 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area, Bargain priced based on quality and competitive area pricing, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing, Ranks with the best in this price level, Best course in the area
Condition of Course, Price, Pace of Play, Food/ Bar facilities, Difficulty, Ambiance, Staff, Layout, Clubhouse
