Have been wanting to play here for quite some time and finely made it happen, good things are worth waiting for. With the three (3) 9 hole layouts (Inside/Outside/North) they can accommodate a lot of play and it seems to move right along on this Links style layout. I started with the Inside track which played 3,234yds / 35.1 / 122 / Par 36 that was green and mowed give the feeling of 150yd forced carries to the well kept fairways/rough being good heights on both. Greens were protected by various soft sand traps and greens soft but held and putted very true (7-8) and mostly straight forward readings. The 8th or 26th hole is a 205yd par 3 that is all carry with a marsh guarding the front and LH side. I choose to miss right to the sand trap but missed my save on that one. Shot 38/16putts and enjoyed the 1hr 15 minute pace that has tree lined fairways keeping stray balls away, allowing you to focus on your shots. Now I headed over to the North course (quite a lengthy drive) which is 3,523yds / 36.5 / 130 / Par 37 and WOW!! what a view from the first tee box of this beautiful Links layout. This was spread out with no side-by-side fairways like the other two nines. Every hole was laid out with no surprises and I used by range finder to pick the landing areas I knew I could reach safely, Thoroughbred GC taught me that lesson last week. The one (1) hole that sticks out is the #13 on the card, 491yd Par 5 that has you hitting Driver / 8 iron to a island landing area and then 140yd shot to a elevated green. This was a very fun short, target par 5 that makes you think instead of grip and rip. I shot 43/16putts as I found there are more hazards that come into play than I originally thought. This North course is a great set-up for a closing Back 9, after getting warmed up on one of the other two layouts. Worth stopping in with the overall conditions being above par and friendly layout.

Would travel: 30-60 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area, Bargain priced based on quality and competitive area pricing, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
