Down working here again and decided to play a quick nine (9) course to stay "Tuned Up" for the tougher tracks later. Although this is a just a eighteen (18) hole Executive Par 3 with a Par 27/27, it still offers a challenge in those small raised greens. Conditions for this City run course was surprisingly very good with its narrow tree lined and tight mowed fairways. The small but well manicured greens were a little on the firm side with the shorter yardage greens showing the many repaired ball marks. I only played the Front 9 at 1,461yds but with three (3) holes at 200yds +, my accuracy was to be challenge. The #2 at 214yds with a back left pin and missing short LH side was my first mistake. Follow that up with 218yds on #4 with a very narrow green adds another 2 putt bogey to the score card. The #5 at 171yds is another narrow raised green but landing short allowed for a easy "Up & Down" on this miss. The #6 at 79yds is the shortest hole on the course that has a nice raised and round green for that SW shot. The #8 at 202yds has a slight left to right tight tree lined view from the tee box so keep it between the goal post and par is yours. Very easy walking course but it is hilly so for $23 18/cart, enjoy the ride. Lots of Seniors were out here today with a good mix on riding and walking. My walking 9 holes at $7 in 1.5hours was very enjoyable and learned a lot about my 200yd+ Par 3's..........I need a lot of work.
Would travel: 10-20 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: Bargain priced based on quality and competitive area pricing, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
Condition of Course, Price, Pace of Play, Staff, No Houses on Course
