Returned to this area again for a family wedding and HAD to play this again. Told my son how tough the greens and visual landing areas were from the blues tees, so away we went. Jeremy shot 80/35putts w/ 3 birdies and I had 83/37putts in 4.5hrs and talked the whole evening with other golfers on the various holes and greens. All agreed that #8 par 3 from 225yds is one tough green to hit, in the right spot. Greens are still very fast and true and you MUST hit the right area to score. I had two 3 putt greens because 2 putts wasn't possible. Looking forward to returning and laying down $75 for another lesson in "Course Mgt" at Red Rock.

Sent to this course because of a tee time screwup and was the best referal I ever got, thanks. The $70 was hard to take at first but was quickly forgotten by the 3rd hole as no two holes are even close to the same. Must think before hitting each shot as no hole is straight forward with hidden landing areas and various elevation changes on each hole. As for the wind, it doesn't blow, it Swirls which make yardage slection very tough. The greens rolled as true anything I've ever been on and would put at 10-11 on the stemp meter and not a flat green on the course. Must know where to hit the greens to make shots hold as I found out MANY times. Very demanding shot making track with the houses set back from the course far enough to give the course its own image. Shot 82 w/ 39 putts and was in the fairway all day which was quite a feat after talking to some local golfers later. Don't let the price tag scare you off, but bring your "A" game OR alot of balls.
