Blacklake has been known as one of the nicer courses in the area. I has gone down hill in the last year or so. The conditions of the fairways and greens have diminished. The staff there is very friendly and personable. The course offers a "Club" that you can join to get additional discounts and values for green fees and in the pro shop. Blacklake is also a sister course to Avila Resort Golf Course, where the Club membership is also endorsed.
Would travel: 30-60 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Average course for the area, Ranks with the best in this price level, Bargain priced based on quality and competitive area pricing, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
Difficulty, Layout, Price, Ambiance, Pace of Play, Staff, Clubhouse, Pro Shop
