Sugarloaf
2008-08-29
$36 (cart included), played on Friday, August 2008 at 2pm
What a disappointment! The course was in terrible shape save for the greens. Under watered, fairways were aerated but plugs had not been removed. Dry hard ground all over the place.
There were no rangers that we were aware of, slow play, and no beverage cart.
We tried Sugarloaf based on Golf Digests ranking / recommendation in their "places to play" where they gave Sugarloaf a rank of 4 stars. This course barely deserved a 2.
Do not waste your time.
Would travel: 0-10 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: Worse than average course for the area
