Awful, awful management. Unless you enjoy someone out of control, yelling at you.
My husband and I visited Old Hickory Golf Course for the first time and had a nice round of golf... But as we was leaving, we were confronted in our car by an older woman (who was apparently the owner) started yelling at us for "driving through mud."
We had no idea what she was talking about and told her we hadn't seen any mud. I apologized explaining this was our first time at the course and we didn't mean to do anything wrong. She ignored my apology. My husband went back to see where this "mud" was and she followed him back yelling at him and called him STUPID!!! ...seriously, who does that? Yes, where there was some tall grass dampness and mud could be seen when standing directly over it. So, my husband apologized again. That apparently wasn't good enough, she kept yelling. Really who is that rude? especially management. She proceeded to tell us not to come back since we "didn't respect the golf course" As if we would after witnessing here berserk manner. We will never go back. Sing she doesn't respect her customers.... So rude. I couldn't believe it. She turned what had been a pleasant, not spectacular, but pleasant day of golf into a horrible experience. Shame on Old Hickory, forever now em-blazed in my mind as Old Bitchory. Be forwarded.
In case you are still wondering, no, I do not recommend Old Bitchory.
Would travel: 0-10 Miles,Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I won't play again, I wouldn't recommend this course, Worse than average course for the area, Any price would be too much for this courses
