It is nearly impossible to maintain a municipal golf course in the same fashion as a private or one financed by corporate headquarters. I have witnessed more than 60 years of golf at the Muni and have witnessed the good, the bad and the ugly. Cliff Welch has put his money where his mouth is and gone the extra yard, in an attempt to take a worn & tired Donald J. Ross course and bring it, kicking & screaming, into the 21st Century. To play the original layout, carrying my Sunday bag and able to enjoy the flora, the fauna and Mother Nature at its finest, is no greater joy. So put the peg in the ground, focus on the beauty that surrounds you and enjoy the course as you find it. Brother Logan
Would travel: 20-30 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area, Bargain priced based on quality and competitive area pricing, Ranks with the best in this price level
