This is a well maintained course that is always playable year-around. The fairways are always well maintained, which is not always the case in the greater Sacramento area. The course is bisected by a wide drainage area that must be crossed several times. I find this grinds on one after awhile, and necessitates mere mortals to lay up frequently (especially on windy days). The challenges the course presents make it interesting, and after you play it a few time and learn where to place your ball, and challenges are not beyond the average golfer. The views are very good from most of the holes, especially along the north side.
Would travel: 10-20 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area
Condition of Course, Price, Pace of Play, Clubhouse
