The course is marginal at best. Although I have played Kingsboro a few times, it really is just for convenince and to get in a quick mid-week practice round. As i have said I have played the course a few times but never again.
I had a terrible experience at this dog track. I brought a friend along who thought he might like to try playing golf. We went mid-day, mid-week. Not having any clubs I let him borrow mine. I was hassled by one of the only other golfers on the course about it, to the point where i could not take it anymore and finally said "Buzz off" or a variation thereoff. He went to the office and told the receptionist and had us removed from the course. No refund was made. We had only played 3 holes. Never again.
Yes I know the rules, but when stupidity trumps reason, and you are doing the course a favor playing at their tract, their actions and that of the busy body golfer brought great discredit upon themselves. What a miserable experience. Pretty sure my friend will not be takeing up the game.
Would travel: 0-10 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: Better courses for less nearby, Worse than average course for the area
