New Ulm
2012-09-12
$56 (cart included), played on Friday, September 2012 at 2pm
Had a group of a dozen guys. We actually played 4 rounds in 3 days. This course is above average and should be considered by all. The layout is grand and fits with the description of New Ulm being the "Entry to the Hill Country". There are some very difficult holes (all but one of the par-3s require a forced carry). Choose the right tee-box and you will be fine and have fun. Lots of wildlife on the course. It seems to have recovered 90% from last years drought.
The Falls is actually a resort with Villas and Condos. Pool was great and crystal clear, Restaurant was outstanding and had a good variety of meals. Priced very reasonably; I intend to go back often.
Would travel: 120-300 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: Ranks with the best in this price level, Best course in the area
